If you don’t agree, that’s okay — but you shouldn’t use the site.

We’re a small, hardworking Alaska business, not a mega-corporation. We try to keep things fair, honest, and salty in the best way.

Who We Are

Tide & Timber produces small-batch salts, seasonings, body scrubs, bath salts, and goods in Wrangell, Alaska.

Our edible products are made under Alaska Cottage Food regulations and are not inspected by state or federal agencies.

🧂 Cottage Food & Sales Limits

Because we operate under cottage food rules:

✔ Edible items may only be sold and shipped within Alaska
✔ We cannot ship food products across state lines

Orders that include food and list an out-of-state address will be canceled and refunded.

If laws change someday (or we finally finish building a commercial kitchen) we’ll celebrate loudly.

We do our best to describe products accurately. Colors, textures, and packaging may vary slightly because — well — humans make them.

Availability can change without notice, especially during busy seasons.

Allergen & Consumption Notice

Our products are prepared in a home kitchen where common allergens may be present, including but not limited to dairy, wheat, nuts, soy, and others.

By purchasing, you accept responsibility for checking ingredients and determining suitability for you or those you serve.

No Medical or Health Claims

Nothing we sell is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

If you have health concerns, talk to a qualified professional, not a jar of salt.

Pricing & Payment

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars.
We reserve the right to correct errors, change prices, or cancel orders if something went sideways on the website.

Shipping

Shipping times are estimates, not guarantees.
Once a carrier has your package, delivery is outside our control — though we will help if problems arise.

Refunds & Returns

Food and consumable products cannot be returned.

If something arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 7 days with photos and we’ll make it right.

All photos, logos, product names, designs, and content belong to Tide & Timber.

Please don’t copy, reproduce, or use them without written permission.

We worked hard for this look.

Limitation of Liability

By purchasing from us, you agree Tide & Timber is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to product use or website access.

Our maximum liability will never exceed the amount you paid us.
